Across the Universe of Time
Wait for the SunriseI lie in wait behind the shadows of my thoughts.
The tears I hold inside are not for me.
The world has changed into a different place,
And it is because of this that I weep.
My thoughts cannot be manifested into truth.
The world would turn to chaos if they were.
The hope that yet remains would be destroyed
And still we harbor feelings of success.
Despite all that we?ve been through, we still hope,
And prayer is our only savior now.
Were I to speak, I?d change the tides of fate,
And pull the world around to a false existence.
----------
The air is different than it's been before.
The water lies upon the earth and leaves.
The fires die and the light may fade.
The ice is melting; who will be the one to fall?
The lights diminish; the sun begins to drop.
The wind blows stronger and winds around the trees.
The earth now waits until its time is come
To follow time until we return home.
----------
But hope has not yet forsaken these lands,
For it remains in all we hold so dear.
For fate may change ? the tides may turn themselves
And bring hope back for their unbound success.
The world is changed, but the race of Men not yet lost,
And I await the sunrise ? the start of a new Age.
