Haven't seen it, but a friend of mine is very much a Narnia fan and she told me it was fairly close to canon. Much like LotR, Narnia has been beaten over with the Christian innuendo, here much more clearly than with Tolkien, but it makes a good story if you can either ignore it or go with it and let it be...

The christain themes are pretty easy to overlook if you arn't looking for them. There is the whole daughters of Eve/sons of Adam thing and the fact that Aslan was killed and was reborn but that's all that I really saw.
