24 exams??!!! Good heavens!!! I was wondering why your exams stretched so long!!! I barely survive with 7 exams!! Granted, it's about two hours per, but still!!
And "extra" revision is just more work..... *rolls eyes* Someone should establish that...

Yeah I sit two exams per subject (8 subjects) but then I've got added exams for english, french, maths and chemistry so it totals out to roughly 24 exams.... Stretched out over a month... But I'm only sitting phoney/practise exams for just now... I have 6 more weeks then its the big ones, the exams which decide my future and the nerves are beginning to settle in...
Yeah whenever they say extra revision to help with exams you can't help rolling your eyes...

*whistles* Harsh.... What year are you in? (If you don't mind my asking...) My classes can't exceed seven on a normal schedule, although there's 8th period electives, which don't really get you a whole lot of credit... We're not allowed to take more than seven core - if we have eight, one has to be a free...... So I get one exam per subject..... Two per is pretty rough! No wonder they stretch for so long!! *rolls eyes* My chem prof. has her... buzzword or something as "SAT II"!! It just makes us nervous!!! And then everyone keeps throwing it at us that it's our year that gets to take the first of the new SAT versions..... *grumbles* *snorts* Extra revision? Why not just say more work and get it over with already?? ~ Elwen

I'm in 4th year, but I'm pretty sure the schooling system is different up here..... yup 24 exams, 2 exams general and credit for each subject... but then you have non-calc and calc for maths... reading and writing for english..... speaking, reading, writing and listening for french... chem is the sames as maths and so is Biology... So yeah roughly 24 exams stretched out over a month.... But we get 6 periods a day, and none of them are free periods Extra work is what makes some teachers happy... ~Natalie

Yeah, hearing that, I'm now sure it is..... We do the calc/non-calc thing for math, as well, but that depends on the year.... And even then, they just divide the exam time to switch paper sets.... Everything else is just... the exam... Oh, you take French? Me too! ;D And again, we might do listening, and the rest is just writing.... The rest gets randomly tested through the year, prior to the actual exam... Oh fine...... *rolls eyes* Disadvantages to having members around the globe - none of them know what the other's talking about!! *grumbles* We should have a chat with those teachers and explain that concept.... ~ Elwen

*falls over laughing* I didn't mean RL in the sense of free time and socializing!!! ;D I haven't had that sort of RL for the past seven years!! Considering my age at that point, that's pretty darn sad!!! But yes, work, horses, classes, and now the web make having any sort of life quite the trial... That's nice though... I almost never go out - ever. It's kind of sad... I ride, come home, do homework, read, work some more crap out online, and that's pretty much it.... Of course, it's hours at the stables when I have the chance, so.... ~ Elwen

Hehe.... Yeah, no kidding.... Been officially employed as full-time editor and on-call graphics designer now... Interesting stuff.... Don't ask me how I intend to go about that..... No worries about the tags; whenever is fine - just something handy to have around. And I love the new layout you have up! But I've said that over at your site, so, well, yes. ~ Elwen

am trying to find a way to send them to you... The tags are the same for my e-mail server so they won't show up....
Might attach them to a word document...

Oh, fun.... I hate doing that..... So annoying, trying to figure out how to get it to function without screwing up what you've written... But yeah, Word would have worked, but PM worked just fine, too. ~ Elwen

I didn't realise at the time, but word doesn't work for me, i write everything in notepad and it wouldn't let me attach a notepad file ~Natalie

Ah, you use notepad, too? Those files are weird about attaching - you need to resave in different folders and systems to get it to work... Overall, just too much work... ~ Elwen

Although calling overseas is sort of a tough one to work out.... Hehe Oh good luck - I finished my last exam on the 2nd, so I have the next few months off... ~ Elwen
