Haha... Wow, do I remember this story... Looks much nicer now than it did the last time I read it, if you don't mind my saying so.  Did I ever tell you that I love your imagery? With the writing polished up, this sounds really nice, and you can see what you're portraying - especially in his father's death scene. I love that "loss of two immortal lives" line. So true, especially in context. I've pretty much reviewed this before, but I had to say that. Short, sweet, and a nice little filler. Interesting interpretation of why Haldir was so quiet... Hehe...
