Name: Anwariel Hedhurien
Anwariel, Sindarin, is translated as "Daughter of Awe" and Hedhurien, pronounced "Heth-oo-ree-en", while Doriathrin in derivation, is "Lady of the Mist"
Race: Sindar
Age: roughly 3000 by the Second War of the Ring (approx. around the same age as Elladan and Elrohir)
Occupation: archer of Mirkwood, member of the Royal guard
Location: Mirkwood, generally in the palace, but she is known to travel on patrol or as a messenger to Thranduil or any of the royal house and as such can be found nearly anywhere in ME
Height: tall, as is typical for an Elf, standing at what I believe is about 6'5" in English measurements
Eye Color: emerald, flecked with hazel
Hair Color: long blond hair, slightly wavy, usually tucked up in a bun or a braid, but somehow out of her way
Physical Description: typical creamy Elvish complexion with a bearing that closes her off to others. Her eyes are always somewhat guarded and she carries herself with confidence that seems at times to not be enough. She is very slight, even for an Elf, and the light, forest-toned clothing she wears aids her in blending in to her surroundings.
Family: none; her parents were slain during the attacks by Dol Guldur upon Mirkwood before the Last Alliance was formed and she had no siblings, neither is she married
Weapons or Special Objects: she favours an Elven longbow, Sindarin in crafting, and carries four daggers permanently: two set in the tops of her boots, one in her belt, and another hidden at the small of her back which is always tipped in a deadly poison; she does not usually carry a sword unless in ceremony as a member of the royal guard or when in the palace - when out on patrol, she relies only on daggers, bow, and the occasional throwing star.
Her horse, Limheryn, is her love - the one being upon Arda that she will trust. Limheryn is trained as a warhorse, though few are aware of that fact as she was trained as a personal favour by Thranduil himself. The bay mare is strong-willed and will let no others aside from Thranduil and Anwariel astride her, but will fight to the death for either of them.
Brief History: Anwariel grew up in Mirkwood, her father being Thranduil's closest friend and advisor. As such, her family lived not far from the palace and spent a fair amount of their time there. She began training in the warrior's arts as a hobby, until it became a necessity with the threat of Sauron drawing near, and against opinion she threw herself into becoming a warrior of the realm, ignoring the general consensus revolving around a lady's place. Her talent with bow and dagger were recognized and she eventually was elevated to hold the position of a member of the Royal Guard.
And there she served, up to the day that the Last Alliance rode out. Her father was murdered in that battle and her mother was one of many casualties in a party attempting to reach Imladris. She herself fought alongside Mirkwood's people, defending their King, and when all was concluded, she was one of three remaining members of the Royal Guard. Because of her duty in battle, she was elevated to Captain and has since remained in that position.
She has never married and still has no intentions to do so, spending what free time she has in the libraries, discovering all she can about the peoples surrounding her and hers.
