The Wheel of Time

This is a great fanitisy series. Here's a breif summary of what I've read so far of it without giving anything away. (when I say brief be warned I'm summarizing a couple 700 page books)

Rand, Mat, and Perrin are just simple farmboys but they are hunted by Ba'Alzamon, the chief evil dude and they have to get to Camlyn with the help of Moiraine, an Aes Sedai. Aes Sedai are feared weilders of the One Power and Rand, Mat, and Perrin must learn to trust Moiraine. Moiraine's Warder Lan also goes with them. Egwene, a person rand is sort of in love with, Nynaeve, and Thom Merrilin and go with them as well. They all have to get to the Eye of the World to save it from destruction at the hands of Ba'Alzamon. Along the way they are chased by Trollocs, Myddrall, and Darkfriend who are trying to get Rand, Mat, and Perrin to come and serve Ba'Alzamon.

I recomend this series to any fantisy lover. The first book is called The Eye of the World.

(be forwarned that there are 10 books so far and each is around 700+ pages and are very dense. There is no end to the sereis in plain sight.)
