For all members submitting stories into the archive, we have decided to make things a little easier for you. Go ahead and use the following template (just copy-paste works fine) to head off your stories and add whatever author's notes you deem necessary. Keep in mind that review responses go on the review board, so save yourself some page length....
The last section of the form is absolutely mandatory for any incoming submissions. It's proof that you have read through the rules, and your submission will be deleted if you don't have that.
Your summary need not be more than a sentence or two, although you are welcome to make it longer. All we need is the general context, so something like "Second Age fic set in Valinor" would do fine, although elaboration is fantastic... Disclaimers can be creative or general, just so long's you have one. Saves up lots of problems, and that includes lawsuits.......
The listing of your email address is, while requested, not mandatory. Some people are uncomfortable with publicly announcing email adresses over the internet, and that is understandable. If you would like something so that you can keep track of fanfiction and list as a public-access email, we suggest accounts at common free servers, such as Yahoo! or Hotmail. Simplifies things a bit, and the service is decent.
